Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, if he will publish details of how his Department is giving organisations the opportunity to influence the development of the White Paper on Adult Social Care Reform; and which organisations have been involved in the development of that White Paper as of 17 November 2021.

‘People at the Heart of Care: adult social care reform white paper’ was published on 1 December 2021. Details of the Department’s engagement with stakeholders to shape the content of the white paper and the names of these organisations is available at the following link:

We will continue to engage with people and organisations across the sector, including individuals with lived experience of drawing on care and support, to further develop and design the implementation of these reforms.
