Smoke development and smoke toxicity is not a feature of either the screening or large-scale tests conducted for DCLG, so was not measured.

Following a request from DCLG, the Building Research Establishment (BRE) agreed to contact customers for whom they had carried out large-scale testing previously. If a customer gives permission, the BRE provides summary details of the test on their website (www.bre.co.uk/regulatory-testing).
