Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, how many former service men and women were in receipt of personal independence payments in each of the last five years.

The Department does not hold this information.

However, in 2015/16 1000 former Servicemen and woman were receiving Armed Forces Independence Payment.
