Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, pursuant to the Answer of 19 December 2016 to Question HL3875, on tobacco, if his Department will collect data on the use of snus and other chewed tobacco products.
This question was answered on 19th April 2017
The 2016 Health Survey for England collects data on the use of non-smoked tobacco, which includes snus and chewing tobacco. The 2017 Survey will collect the same data.
The results of the 2016 survey are scheduled to be published by NHS Digital by the end of the year.
