Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what guidance is given to NHS ambulance trusts on (a) how often ambulances should be replaced and (b) the risks of not replacing ambulances within any such specified timeframes.

The Department does not provide such guidance. This is an operational matter for individual National Health Service ambulance trusts.
