Question to the Home Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what additional resources and funding her Department has been allocated to enable (a) processing permanent residency claims of EU nationals living in the UK and (b) other work as a result of the decision for the UK to leave the EU in the next two years.
UK Visas and Immigration operate flexible staffing resources and deploy staff in line with demands on the service. Currently all EEA applications, including those for permanent residency and for other residence documentation under the Immigration (European Economic Area) Regulations 2016, are being considered within the published service standards.
