Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, what his policy is on the interest and repayment requirements for loans under the Support for Mortgage Interest scheme; in what circumstances such loans will be payable; and if he will make a statement.

The Government will set out its assessment of the impacts of the policies in the Welfare Reform and Work Bill in due course.
