Department for International Trade ministers and officials have discussed a range of trade topics with Australia, including the strong political commitment from Australia and the UK to take the lead in pushing for greater global free trade. In line with normal international diplomatic practice, it would not be appropriate to routinely provide details of private diplomatic engagement with foreign governments.
