Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, whether he has made representations to his Tanzanian counterpart on that Government's proposals to publish lists of homosexuals.

We are concerned by the increased anti-homosexual rhetoric and steadily deteriorating LGBT environment in Tanzania. Our High Commission in Dar es Salaam has been monitoring the situation closely and will meet with the Minister of Health in the near future to raise our concerns.
