The Gambling Commission’s advice to DCMS on reforms to society lotteries sets out the number of lotteries within 20% of the current limits. This remains the most recent data available and shows that in 2016, 27 operators (just over 6%) were within 20% of the annual limit. The Gambling Commission’s advice has been published on their website and can be found here: http://www.gamblingcommission.gov.uk/PDF/consultations/Society-lottery-advice-provided-to-DCMS-002.pdf
