Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:

To ask the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, what discussions he has had with the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster on the Government's progress in agreeing a devolved County Deal with Durham County Council.

In the Levelling Up White Paper, we named County Durham as one of the places invited to negotiate a devolution deal. We remain committed to continuing those discussions.
