The Department has not made a formal estimate of any increase in the costs of providing children’s palliative care since 2006-07.

NHS England is currently reviewing provider costs as part of a review of the national children’s hospice grant. This review will help inform an updated children’s hospice grant allocation formula expected to be introduced for financial year 2017-18.
