Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, with reference to the paper by Jessica Taylor and Jaimi Shrive entitled I thought it was just a part of life: Understanding the scale of violence, published in April 2021, if her Department will make an assessment of (a) the potential impact of the wording of questions on (i) rape and (ii) sexual assault on the answers given to the annual Crime Survey for England and Wales and (b) the potential merits of using descriptive language without terminology in that survey.
