To ask the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, what assessment he has made of the potential effect of trends in the levels of mortgage rates on average rental prices.

The department continues to monitor market research into the likely impact of interest rates on buy-to-let landlords and private rent levels.
