Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:

To ask the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, whether his Department has taken recent steps with local authorities to help ensure that the Jewish community is able to publicly celebrate Hanukkah.

I hope Jewish people across the country are able to celebrate Chanukah, and that local authorities stand in unity with their Jewish communities so that they can celebrate safely. The Secretary of State recently wished the Jewish community a happy Chanukah and made clear that this Government will do all that it can to uphold the freedom and security of Jewish people here in the UK and beyond.
