All clinical trial participants can obtain a NHS COVID Pass through the NHS App or NHS.UK based on their vaccine status, where data has been uploaded to the national immunisation database by their trial sites or an exempt status where they remain on a blinded trial.

Valneva clinical trial sites have now begun data uploads and once complete, unblinded Valneva trial participants will be able to access their NHS COVID Pass for travel. Participants should continue to check the entry requirements for their destination of travel. Most clinical trial participants, including approximately two thirds of Novavax trial participants in England, can now access their NHS COVID Pass for travel purposes. Work is ongoing to ensure that all clinical trial participants can access a NHS COVID Pass for travel in the near future.
