The Government believes that prices should be set by supply and demand in the secondary ticketing market.

The measures set out in the Consumer Right Act 2015, which came into force on 27 May, will enable consumers to make an informed decision on the tickets they purchase.

The Government encourages all fans to look to official primary and secondary sites, such as the 2015 Rugby World Cup’s official resale platform, for the safest and most secure method of buying tickets at face value.
