Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, how many officials of his Department have been designated to work full-time in processing responses to the consultation, entitled Exceptions to the limiting of the individual child element of tax credits and the child element of universal credit to a maximum of two children, published in October 2016.

The consultation closed on 27 November and Government will respond to it in the usual way, prior to bringing forward the relevant legislation in time for April 2017. We have no plans to publish copies of the responses due to the sensitive and personal information disclosed within them. DWP, HMT and HMRC officials are reviewing the consultation responses as part of their normal duties.
