The Department does not hold data on the amounts collected as fees from overseas private patients.

Since 2013-14, the Department has been collecting data on the amount invoiced by National Health Service trusts and NHS foundation trusts, together with amounts recovered and written off for NHS treatment of overseas patients entitled to be treated as NHS patients under the NHS (Charges to Overseas Visitors) Regulations 2015.
