Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what recent discussions he has had with the Minister of State for Climate Change and Industry on the Government's approach to tackling climate change.
The Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, my Rt Hon. Friend the Member for Uxbridge and South Ruislip (Boris Johnson), discussed international climate change matters with the Minister of State for Climate Change and Industry, my Hon. Friend the Member for Ruislip, Northwood and Pinner, in October and corresponded on the Government’s approach ahead of the recent UN Climate Conference in Marrakesh. In recent months, Ministers from the two Departments have also discussed cross-government programmes related to international climate objectives.
