Question to the Department for International Trade:

To ask the Secretary of State for International Trade, when he expects the UK will be in a position to confirm its status at the World Trade Organisation after the conclusion of the Article 50 process.

The UK is already a founding member of the World Trade Organisation (WTO). The process of separating our position from that of the EU within the WTO is distinct from the Article 50 process.
