Ofsted is the non-ministerial government department responsible for the regulation of childcare providers in England. Ofsted is responsible for considering and responding to information notified to them by providers and for taking subsequent enforcement action where appropriate. We have informed Ofsted of this question and Her Majesty's Chief Inspector will be writing to the hon. Member in response. A copy of that letter will be placed in the Library of the House.
