Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, how many training places for paediatrics were (a) commissioned and (b) filled in each of the last five years.

The following figures are produced by the Health Education England Oriel recruitment system and are for England. Oriel has only been in operation for the last three years and the Department does not have access to any comprehensive data collected by local regional teams prior to this.
