Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what assessment he has made of trends in the number of children attending accident and emergency departments with conditions relating to (a) drug and (b) alcohol abuse in the last six years.

It is not possible to identify drug and alcohol-related attendances in the ‘A&E dataset’.
