The Department has been working in partnership with the industry to ensure the flow of vital goods through our ports can continue, while supporting a safe restart for the wider sector in line with the Government’s plan.

The Department has already published specific guidance on the application of social distancing requirements to transport operators, which is available online at gov.uk. We will continue to support the sector to ensure transport services can be operated as safely as possible.
