Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many incidents have been reported under Operation Bridger in each police force area in each month up to and including October 2016.

Operation BRIDGER is a nationwide police protective security operation to enhance the security of Members of Parliament. This was set up in the wake of a number of threats to MP’s following the Parliamentary debates on Syria late last year.

Part of these arrangements are to ensure that there is consistent reporting and recording of incidents against MP’s constituency offices and home addresses. It would not be appropriate to release these figures in to the public domain given their sensitivity.
