Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, when she plans to extend the scope of the scheme for transferring responsibility for relevant children under section 73 of the Immigration Act 2016 to include Scotland.

We are consulting the Devolved Administrations on the extension of the transfer provisions in the Immigration Act 2016 to Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. We will confirm our plans in light of that consultation.
