The Government currently has no plans to alter the restrictions on the premises which can be licensed to have fixed-odds betting terminal machines or alter the number of FOBTs allowed per betting shop. Nevertheless, the Government continues to monitor the effects of existing controls and if need be will take action if these controls are found to be insufficient.
