Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what guidance was provided to NHS hospitals on face fit tests for people wearing FFP3 masks between February and May 2020.

Where respiratory protective equipment is required, the COVID-19 infection prevention and control guidance states that fit testing is necessary. This information has been included in all published versions of the COVID-19 infection prevention and control guidance since 10 January 2020.
