Fires involving fireworks include those in which fireworks were recorded as: the main cause of the fire; the source of ignition; the first item ignited in the fire; the item which caused the spread or rapid growth of the fire; or were recorded as a dangerous or explosive substance involved the fire.

Note that the count of “All fires attended” in the table above excludes non-fire incidents attended by FRSs, such as false alarms and medical co-responding incidents.

Detailed data on the causes and locations of fire for 2015/16 will be published in 2017.
