Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, whether his Department has made an assessment of the effect of the UK leaving the EU on UK food prices.

Food prices can be affected by many factors including agricultural commodity prices, exchange rates, the oil price, and trade barriers. The Government is currently reviewing its policy in line with the country’s decision to leave the EU.
