Question to the Department for Education:

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, pursuant to the Answer of 25 October 2016 to Question 49242, what organisations and community groups have been invited to provide expertise on the drivers for raising the educational attainment of gypsy, roma and traveller pupils.

There are a number of factors that influence the educational attainment of Gypsy, Roma and Traveller pupils, and it is important that the Department continues to maintain a frequent dialogue with key representatives and organisations from these communities. The Department is currently developing its plans and will provide further detail in due course.
