Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what assessment he has made of the potential merits of introducing conditions on the receipt of any new funding for social care by private care providers, to require that funds are spent only on care delivery.

We are currently considering a range of options across Government. Further detail on all the adult social care system reform commitments will be published in a white paper later this year.
