High Rise Flats: Air Conditioning

Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:

To ask the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, what recent discussions he had had with Galliard Homes on the reliability and performance of cooling systems installed for air conditioning in flats in former office blocks converted to accommodation under permitted development rules.

We have not had any such discussions.

Air conditioning installations must meet all the relevant requirements of the building regulations, regardless of whether the use of a building was permitted following a planning application or under a nationally set permitted development right.
