Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, when the supplementary environmental statement for High Speed 2 will be published; and how long the consultation period for that document will be.

A Supplementary Environmental Statement relating to the High Speed Rail (London – West Midlands) Bill will be deposited in Parliament, and in local authority offices and libraries in affected areas, on 13^th July 2015. It will also be published online on gov.uk on that date. The consultation period will run from 13^th July until 28th August 2015, a period of 47 days.
