Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, what discussions his Department has had with representatives of religious institutions on the financial difficulties that places of worship are experiencing as a result of the covid-19 lockdown; and if he will make a statement.

While HMT is concerned with the financial sustainability of faith organisations, engagement with them on difficulties relating to Covid-19 is handled by the Ministry of Housing, Communities, and Local Government.
