Ovarian Cancer: Diagnosis

Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, if he will update NHS England guidance to allow patients with suspected ovarian cancer to be referred for a CA125 blood test and ultrasound at the same time to shorten the diagnostic pathway.
This question was answered on 13th May 2020
The CA125 Blood test, followed by an ultrasound for raised CA125, is the current process recommended by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence.
