Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, if he will withdraw his proposal to replace bursaries for nurses, midwives and allied health professionals with student loans.
This question was answered on 5th July 2016
A 12-week public consultation, asking for views on how to successfully implement the reforms, closed on the 30 June 2016. The Government is currently considering submissions from interested parties to the consultation and will publish a response in due course.
