Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how many people have been (a) admitted to and (b) discharged from hospital as a result of covid-19 in each (a) region and (b) NHS Trust.

The number of people who have been admitted with COVID-19 or discharged from hospital after recovering from COVID-19 is not currently available or published in the format requested.

Public Health England publishes the hospital admission rate for England in the National COVID-19 surveillance reports. However, this does not include information on discharged and recovered patients. The surveillance reports are available to view at the following link:
