The Debt Relief Scheme will be delivered by Ofgem, and they will consult shortly on the details of the scheme’s delivery.

The Debt Relief Scheme will support vulnerable households with qualifying gas or electricity debt. Whilst it does not have a specific component for heating oil debt, qualifying households that use heating oil may still benefit if they have electricity debt, subject to the final eligibility criteria.
