Question to the Cabinet Office:
To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, pursuant to the Answer of 30 September 2026 on the establishment of the National School of Government and Public Services, what assessment he has made of the potential implications for his policies of the use of external consultancies and advertising agencies to establish the National School.
The creation of the National School of Government and Public Administration supports the government's wider commitment to deliver £2 billion in administrative savings across the Civil Service. The National School will design and deliver training in-house, drawing on external specialists only where they genuinely add value. Proportionate use of expert external organisations has been used to help establish the School.
