My department currently has no plans to consult on introducing mandatory accessibility information standards for businesses. Businesses should treat all their customers fairly.

The Equality Act 2010 protects people from discrimination in wider society. The Office for Equalities and Opportunities has published guidance on GOV.UK to help businesses in specific sectors to comply with their obligations under the Act.
