Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, when he will make a decision on funding the Blue Belt Programme for 2026/27.

The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office's Blue Belt Programme has received a £8.5 million funding allocation (comprising £2 million Official Development Assistance [ODA] and £6.5 million non-ODA) for 2026/27, and will continue to provide vital support to the UK Overseas Territories in protecting their marine environments and underpinning global ocean protection ambitions.
