Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what discussions her Department have had with Thames Water regarding its response to water outages experienced in the Epping Forest constituency this Summer.

Defra officials met with Thames Water staff during the outages to discuss the response including the support being provided to affected customers. Defra maintains frequent dialogue with Thames Water on its ability to manage water outages.
