Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, if she will set out how public-facing risk perception surveys are being utilised to adjust national preparedness messaging.

The Cabinet Office published its second annual UK Public Survey of Risk Perception, Resilience and Preparedness on 19 August 2026. The survey findings provide insight that supports the development of our preparedness guidance for households and individuals. This is supplemented by stakeholder insight gathered through direct engagement to develop national preparedness messaging.
