Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what progress has SWR made towards modernising and improving the West of England line fleet between December 2025 and 2028, including the planned overhaul of 15x fleet.
This question was answered on 8th June 2026
The 15X fleet heavy maintenance overhaul and internal refurbishment programme started in December 2025. The refreshed units will start being rolled out progressively later this year.
