Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, how many days patients in (a) England, (b) Morecambe Bay and (c) Blackpool spent in hospital waiting for equipment or support aids to be made available to them to allow their discharge in the last year for which figures are available.

In the last 12 months there has been 45,380 delayed days in England due to patients waiting for community equipment and adaptions, with 618 in Lancashire (Morecambe Bay) and 97 in Blackpool.
