Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, pursuant to the Answer of 29 September 2026 to Question 21037 on Independent Football Regulator: Public Appointments, whether the Prime Minister has recused himself on matters relating to football.

As set out in the Ministerial Code, there is an established process in place for the declaration and management of interests held by ministers. This ensures that steps are taken to avoid or mitigate any actual or perceived conflicts of interest.
