Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what progress is being made on the investigation into maternity services at the Countess of Chester hospital.

The investigation by Cheshire Constabulary into a number of baby deaths occurring between June 2015 and June 2016 in the neonatal unit of the Countess of Chester Hospital is on-going, so we are not able to provide any further details at this time.
