The Treasury and Bank of England have regular discussions on the economic outlook, and the Chancellor has regular discussions with the Governor covering the full range of the Bank of England’s responsibilities. This includes the economic disruption as a result of Covid-19, and helping to provide a comprehensive, coordinated and coherent response.
